Kinston Charter Academy
Welcome to
Kinston Charter Academy's official website. Kinston Charter Academy is
tuition free public charter school operating under a charter granted by the
North Carolina State Board of Education. Kinston Charter Academy (KCA)
serves students in grades K-8. The schools' mission is “To
become a superior school that provides students with opportunities to achieve
academic excellence enabling them to participate competitively in our global
society.” The schools' vision is that “No less than 100 percent of
Kinston Charter Academy students will perform at or above grade level by the end
of the academic school year with teachers and administration providing each
student with a highly enriching educational experience that promotes students to
higher academic achievement.” KCA recognizes that parents play a
central role in whether students maintain the proper discipline and time on task
in achieving academic success. KCA seeks to build strong relationships
with parents, the local business community, other educational institutions, and
the community at-large to promote the academic and personal success of our
students.
